Privacy Policy

What the app stores (on your device only)
- Learning progress: completed lessons, coins, streaks, practice history.
- The name and mascot your child picks at setup (never sent anywhere).
- Parent settings: your PIN, the screen-time exchange rate, and the grant history.
- An optional on-device play log (answers, retries, timing) that exists so you can review difficulty. It leaves the device only if you yourself export and share it.
Deleting the app deletes all of this. The parent area also has a "Reset to scratch" control.
What we collect on our servers
Nothing. Kancil has no server. The app makes no network requests during play. (Bundled lesson audio ships inside the app itself.)
Purchases
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see or store your payment details. Manage or cancel any time in your store account settings. See our Terms of Use for subscription details.
Children's privacy
Kancil is designed for children to play and parents to supervise. Because we collect nothing, there is no children's data to protect, sell, or breach — the strongest privacy posture we know of. This design satisfies Singapore's PDPA and the spirit of COPPA by construction.
Permissions
The app requests no camera, microphone, location, or contacts access. Audio permissions are playback-only.
Changes
If Kancil ever adds an optional feature that transmits data (e.g. cloud backup), we will update this policy first, describe it plainly, and it will be opt-in.
